This is the final season of "Lost," and this season's tagline states, "The time for questions is over." If you have been watching "Lost" religiously like me (every Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC), you might think that ABC should consider changing that tagline. I don't think I've ever had more questions.

I would give an overview of what has happened on the show since the first season; however, this would not be a short article, rather the size of a Merriam-Webster Dictionary. Essentially, there was a plane crash-Flight 815-and there were survivors. Really weird stuff happens on this island that the survivors are stuck on (although some get off… then come back to the island). There is a smoke monster, there are "Others," there is another group of "Others" (we'll call them Anothers), and there are a whole lot of questions. Confused yet? Good, so am I- and I have been watching since the first season.

Being the final season, all of our questions about destiny, Jacob and the smoke monster should be answered. Don't expect too many answers right now. I can honestly say that I am even more confused now than I was after the last season finale. Last season, some of the survivors of Flight 815 were stuck in the 1970s (why-I do not know). To get back to the 21st century world where their flight does not crash, the survivors needed to detonate a hydrogen bomb underground (why-I still do not know). The bomb was detonated and the survivors are still on the island, so they think. In an alternate universe (yes, "Lost" did go there), Flight 815 did not crash and landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport. In this alternate universe, the lives of the survivors of Flight 815 seem to be crossing over… leading the audience to wonder why these people need to be a part of each others' lives.

Back to the other universe where the survivors are still on the mysterious island, the survivors find a temple full of people who praise Jacob-someone we still do not know much about. They perceive Jacob as good and the Man in Black (also the Smoke Monster, also who now is in the form of John Locke) as evil. Some of the original survivors are slowly starting to pick sides to follow. Currently, Claire, Sayid and Sawyer are followers of the Man in Black; Hurley and Jack are following Jacob.

So far, absolutely nothing makes sense. And if I know "Lost" (which I apparently really don't), everything that makes sense now won't in a couple episodes. Unfortunately, "Lost" is like a super addictive drug: you just can't stop. Even if I wanted to stop watching now, I really can't. Less than ten episodes are left of the show-hopefully things will start making sense soon.
